Surfer near Balangan Beach, Bali. Indonesia, 2021.

Balangan Beach is based in the Uluwatu peninsula where the waves crash on the beach right next to the local warungs. Both locals and expats surf these two plus-meter waves which serve one of the longest breaks in Bali. Since the very early morning when the tide is low until sunset. Among the smell of Babi Guling, Nasi Campur, salty waves and board wax people sit in the warungs sipping coconuts and cheering those who had a chance to ride the barrels. Together with the Balinese, I observe the breaks one by one from the adjacent cliff when the sun starts to set.

The photograph is part of a bigger story created over two months. 

Limited, collectors edition photograph printed on archival, museum quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g paper and sent with a Digigraphie certificate of authenticity. Each work is signed and numbered by the author.

Available in two sizes each limited to 10 copies + 5AP. The print comes with a 2 cm white margin on each side. Therefore the real size of the artwork will be larger by 4 cm on both width and height.

All prints are unframed and should be handled with extreme care. Open only by a skilled framer using cotton gloves. Avoid contact with skin and any oils/moisture.
